The AIM-Progress Africa hub is organising few events in Nairobi, Kenya from 24-26 October, 2023. This is an opportunity for members and suppliers of AIM-Progress to connect, discuss, and share learnings on selected topics to drive responsible sourcing practices and local onwnership in Kenya.

You can find the outline of the programme below:

• 24 October (full day) - AIM-Progress Supplier Event, kindly sponsored by Unilever, Diageo and The Coca Cola Company focused on Kenyan Supply Chains at Safari Park Hotel - see draft agenda here
• 25 October (full day) - Field visit around Just Transition and Regenerative Agricluture practices with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) as well as Farm Africa.
• 26 October (half day) - AIM-Progress Africa Hub meeting

The AIM-Progress Kenya supplier event is kindly sponsored by Unilever, Diageo and The Coca Cola Company and is facilitated by Partner Africa with the intervention of various expert speakers. This event will cater to different supplier maturity levels, through the inclusion of various interactive breakout sessions and relevant case studies. This year’s sessions will include topics such as gender and sexual harassment, grievance mechanism, casualisation of workers, regenerative agriculture as well as challenges and opportunities in increasing HRDD requirements and more generally challenges and opportunities in increasing HRDD requirements.
