AIM-Progress Membership growing - welcome to our newest member GSK

Responsible sourcing has moved up the priority list on consumer brands’ agendas throughout 2021, with companies seeking to establish ethical supply chains, to secure sustainable supply of key commodities and to respond to increasing legal requirements on due diligence and human rights. AIM-Progress gained five new members throughout 2021 with Arla Foods, DPDHL, Griffith Foods, SIG and Symrise.

And we are happy to see 2022 kick off with another new member: GSK Consumer Healthcare (CH) is joining AIM-Progress. Their participation will help enhance their collaboration with peers on aligning responsible sourcing best practice, strengthening human rights due diligence, moving towards living wage and increasing supplier diversity, in line with GSK CH’s target of 100% of agricultural, forest and marine-derived materials being sustainably sourced and deforestation free by 2030.

According to Ben Thornton-Jones, Sustainable Supply Director with GSK, “AIM-Progress will help us to work collaboratively on important issues that no single company can tackle alone, share best practices and support our suppliers by working to shared standards and expectations and helping them to continuously improve ”.

GSK CH combines science and consumer insights to create innovative world-class health care brands that consumers trust and experts recommend for oral health, pain relief, respiratory health and wellness.
