What is it about?
AIM-PROGRESS members source ingredients produced through agriculture and extraction. This work stream seeks to effectively address responsible sourcing issues in the agricultural/extractive supply chain and drive an improvement in standards. It works in close co-operation with the SAI platform (sustainable agriculture initiative) which is the leading initiative for sustainable agriculture.
How is it done?
The work stream has two focus areas:

“Hot issue resolution”, i.e. being an ear to the ground for emerging issues in agriculture/ extraction and co-ordinate resolution approaches, if applicable in co-operation with relevant platforms.
- Information sharing, i.e. establishing an overview of relevant initiatives, platforms and NGOs, such as SAI, and organizing dialogues with these.
